ArteFill is a dual-acting injectable wrinkle filler. The secret is in its patented formula, which contains 20% ArteFill Precision-Filtered Microspheres™ (made of PMMA, the same material used for dozens of

Latisse

What Is Latisse?
Latisse is a new prescription treatment for growing longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. Latisse is the first and only FDA approved treatment for people with inadequate or insufficient eyelashes. Its use has been clinically demonstrated to result in longer and more luxurious eyelashes.
The Procedure:
Latisse is believed to work by extending the length of time that eyelash hairs stay in the growth phase and by increasing the number of eyelash hairs that are in the growth phase. This means that as your existing eyelash hairs are replaced with new eyelash hairs, the new hairs will be thicker, darker, and longer. However, Latisse will not affect the appearance of your existing eyelash hairs. (You may continue to use mascara in addition to Latisse solution until your new thicker and more luxurious eyelashes grow out.)
Results
Visible improvement in the appearance of the eyelashes will occur gradually. In the clinical trial leading to FDA approval, the majority of Latisse users saw a significant improvement in eyelashes within 2 months, with the optimum improvement occurring after 4 months of use. Patients have greatly enjoyed the longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes that result from using Latisse.

Radiesse

 

This cosmetic filler is for patients with very well defined wrinkles or folds around the nasal area and the mouth. Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite and works for augmenting chin or cheek bones.
The Procedure:
-supplement your skin’s own depleted collagen
-smooth out deep wrinkles and even scars
In addition, Radiesse can soften deep frown and nasal lines to create a refresh look. This non-surgical wrinkle filler provides immediate results for treatment of:
-naso-labial folds
-peri-orial lines
-lip enhancement
-depressed scars

General discomfort from Radiesse injections are swelling or some slight bruising at the injection sites which can be covered up by make-up.
Well defined wrinkles, frown lines and deep crease will greatly benefit from Radiesse injections. Radiesse remains soft and pliable and may be cost effective because it is long lasting. Depending on the areas treated, the Radiesse fillers may last for months or years with some minimal touch-ups.



Dysport

DYSPORT™ is an acetylcholine release inhibitor and a neuromuscular blocking agent indicated for the treatment of adults like Botox with frown lines.

Botox injections

 
Botox is an easy injection for the treatment of frown lines and crows feet. Dynamic wrinkles are caused by contractions of the delicate underlying facial muscles every time you smile, laugh or frown. The more emotions you show, the deeper these wrinkles and lines are likely to be.
Many wrinkles are caused by using your facial muscles while talking, laughing, smiling or frowning. Over time, these repeated expressive facial features turn into deep facial wrinkles. By using Botox Cosmetic, these wrinkle lines may be less noticeable and significantly improve your facial wrinkles appearances. Crow's feet, laugh lines and other facial wrinkles can be minimize with Botox injections.
The Procedure:
If your facial wrinkles make your friends mention that "you look tired" or makes you feel old, then consider using Botox to rejuvenate your appearance.

Botox injections give you:

- a more rested and youthful appearance

-quick out-patient's office visit.

Using Botox can smooth out facial wrinkles, but it is not a replacement treatment for deep wrinkles due to maturity or severe sun-damaged patients.
What are the limitations of Botox injections?
Botox works to reduce facial wrinkles for 3 - 6 months. Over time with continued usage, many of our patients find that they may only need an occasional Botox injection during the year. Botox's effectiveness does vary from individual to individual. Dr. Moy or his staff could be happy to discuss any Botox limitations in detail during your cosmetic consultation.
